Tonight Westin was in the mood to talk....a lot!!!
I have a feeling that he is going to be one of those kids that never shuts up and asks "why" all the time.

Dinner Time

Westin got to try cereal again for the second time. I don't think that he was quite in the mood to eat tonight.

3 Months Old

Hello Everyone!!!
So...my little man has turned 3 months old. He growing up so fast. On his 3 month birthday he tried cereal (by itself) for the first time. He really like it. I found out that he also like grapes. He loves to lick them after you bite them in half. He really likes grape juice on his cereal. I will have pictures once Bon Bon and Papa send them to me...(hint, hint if you are reading mom).
I will try to keep more pictures coming. I have started a new job and feel like I never have time to upload pictures. I promise I will do better.

Big Boy

2 Months Old, Cont.

So, I totally forgot to mention the important things.
Height - 24 in and 75th %
Weight - 12 lbs 6 oz and 50th %
We have a tall skinny kid on our hands!!!!

2 Months Old

Sorry it has been a while, but we have been busy!
Westin is now 2 months old (well a couple weeks ago he turned 2 months). He has gotten so big and I am so amazed at what all he is doing.
He is now holding his head up like a champ.
Likes to sit in his jumper/bounce seat.
Learning mom and dad's voices.
Talks, alot!

Tummy Time

Today we got to do some more tummy time. Westin is really starting to move around more and I know that he will be crawling before I know it.

Westin is doing more and more everyday. It is hard to believe how fast he is growing up. I love the little man soo much!

Westin Rolls Over

Westin rolled over tonight for the first time. (I should mention that he is only 6 weeks old!!) He is going to be a superstar!

Yeah he is sort of a big deal!!

Dustin's B-day

This year Dustin turned 27 (old fart). My parents took us all out to dinner and got to spend some fun time with them in Ponca. Thanks mom and dad.

We forgot to get a picture at dinner so we took one when we got home. As you can tell Westin was not having it and just wanted to eat.

1 Month Check-up

Yesterday we got to go to the doctors for Westin's 1 month check-up. He is growing like crazy and I can't believe it.
Weight - 10 lbs 3.5 oz
Height - 21.5 in
He is measuring right in the 50th percentile, which is great.
My little man is right on track.

Westin is 1 month old!!

I can't believe that it has already been 1 month since Westin has arrived. He seems to be growing everyday, and I already think it is going to quick.
Westin can already do so many things:
  - Almost hold head by himself (he can hold it for a little while then head butts whatever is in his way)
  - Rolls from side to side (it looks like he could roll over anytime)
  - Still in newborn diapers but can wear some 0-3 month clothes (mostly onesies, he is a long guy, but still wears newborn bottoms, which are somewhat big on him)
  - Talks to us all the time (he is going to be one of those kids that never shuts up and asks "why?" all the time)
  - Staying awake more and more everyday, he can even last between feedings now which is usually 3 hours or so

His 1 month picutre is, of course, of him sleeping. (I promise to get some more of him awake!!)

1 Week Appointment

Hi everyone!

On my last post I forgot to put up his 1 week appointment stats.
He was weighing 8lbs 2oz and was 21in long. I was glad to hear that he had gained weight and the doctor said that everything looked great. He did have a slight case of thrush on his tongue but we got some drops and it cleared up in a couple of days.

Westin is already learning to do so many things. When he is in his swing or laying in the play gym he likes to look in the mirror and see himself. I love that he is starting to notice more things and be awake for longer periods (except at 3 and 4 in the morning).

Westin Martin is here!!!

Hi everyone!
Sorry it's been so long since I have posted. As you can tell by the title of my post my sweet little bundle of joy is finally here.
He made his grand arrival on June 17, 2011 at 3:57pm. He weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 21in long.
He has been the greatest thing ever to happen in my life.

I hope to do better at keeping up the blog and taking lots of pictures and videos.

Updated Doctors Appointment

Hello All,

I just have a quick update on Westin. I went to the doctors today and Westin is doing great! I am measuring at just what I should be measuring at, this means that Westin is growing like he should be. His heart rate is 137 and going strong. I am starting to show, a lot, and I am getting more and more excited. I hope to get some pictures up soon of the big belly.

We have been working pretty hard on the house here lately. Westin's room is all painted and now we just need to get the carpet ripped up and new carpet in. I am getting more and more excited to get his room done and eventually get him here.
The new living room is also coming along pretty well. We really just need to get sheet rock up and paint and put in the new flooring and we should be ready to rearrange the house. I am so excited.

Well...like I said I will try to get some belly pics up so you can see how big Westin is getting.

It's A Boy!!!!

As you can tell by the title of my post...

WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!!!!!

We are so excited. I have already starting buying things for him. Now I can't wait till he gets here.
We no longer have to call the baby "It" or "Ferdinand". We can now call him by his true name, Westin Martin.
Monday, mom and I are going to register for all of Westin's stuff. I can't wait, it will be so much fun.

I am finally starting to show and loving it. I do enjoy being pregnant except for the whole stretching of my belly. No one told me how much that hurts and how uncomfortable it is. Westin is moving around constantly and is a very active little man.

I hope to get the sonogram pics posted and also maybe some belly pics so everyone can watch me and Westin grow.

Quick Update

Hello Everyone~

Just thought I would give everyone a quick update.
Not much is going on. We are still patiently waiting for the 16th to get here so that we can find out what Ferdinand is. I have been starting to feel some movement. It is pretty cool.
I can't wait to start registering for stuff and pick things out.

Other then that there is nothing going one, just watching it snow alot.
I promise to keep everyone updated. Also, I am finally starting to show a little bit, WooHoo.

Doctor's Update!!

I went to the doctors today and it was a good checkup. Mom also got to go. She was super excited to get to hear the heartbeat. It has slowed down in the past month. When we first heard it, it was 155-160. Now the heart rate is 142. Everyone is saying boy!!!

I do get to go back on February 16 to do a sonogram and get to finally find out with Ferdinand is. WooHoo!!

Also, I am still not showing and have not gained any weight in the past month. I am ready to show so that some people will actually think that I have a baby in there (Kirk!!!).

Shopping For Ferdinand

Of course I couldn't wait to start shopping for Ferdinand. (Someday Ferdinand will have a real name).
My first purchase was some awesome K-State clothes. GO CATS!!!!!

We have also decided on a theme for Ferdinand's room. We are going to do a cabin theme with moose and deer. Whether it's a boy or a girl.
So...in the moose theme, I got a moose to hang from the car seat. (Teresa bought him for Ferdinand, Thank You!!!!)

There is going to be plenty more shopping to come so I will post anymore awesome things that I get.
