Baby Ferdinand!!

So....we went to the doctors yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time.
It was pretty cool. It seemed to make it more real now.
Dustin and I are both totally excited, but my mom might be more excited, haha!

Not much else is going on. We are getting ready for Christmas. Everything is done now we just get to enjoy it, eat, and open gifts.

Well, everything else is pretty boring around the Hamm house. I will keep everyone updated with any news that we hear.

Long Time, No Type

I know it has been forever since I have updated my blog.
It seems like time is just flying by as it gets closer to the holiday season.
Arkalalah has come and gone.
Thanksgiving has come and gone.
Devin and Mindy's wedding is here in less then 2 weeks. YAY!!!!!
And Christmas will be here before we know it.

Big NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!
So...the only new thing exciting in our lives it that we are expecting a Hamm Hamm.
We don't know the sex, so I call Ferdinand. (Long story, thanks to Aunt Kassie)
I will try to do my best to keep you updated on this.
Dustin and I both can't wait. I am due June 25, 2011. (National Catfish Day, WooHoo!!)

That's pretty much it for now, but I promise to do better keep everyone more updated!

Family????

Dustin is now obsessed with Hamm's beer. Probably because it is only $15 for a case. And it actually kind of taste good. Not to mention our name is on it, so we know if anyone is drinking our beer.

Who knows.....maybe they are family?!?!?!

Dustin's New Toy

A couple weeks ago Dustin got a new toy. He got a 2005 Yamaha Rhino. He has been so excited to take it anywhere he can. We pretty much ride it anytime we get a chance, even to get the mail. We have taken it out to mom and dad's and road it around their land and Devin's land.

I know it's hard to see, but it is Dustin conquering the rock pile at mom and dads on his new love.

Roy also loves to take rides. He just sits in the bed and hangs out. He is the best dog ever.

Amarillo By Morning.....

So...We went on a little weekend trip down to Amarillo to see our friends Kara and Steven tie the knot.
It was an awesome wedding and we had so much fun.
When we were there we got to visit the Cadillac Ranch. If you dont know know what that is, you live under a rock, just kidding. It is 10 old cadillacs burried in the ground and you can paint all over them whatever you want.

The Hamm's and Friends

So..I know that my blog is called the Hamm Fam, but it seems that I haven't talked much about us.
We have been trying to keep busy here lately working on the house. We are residing the outside of two add on rooms and totally redoing the insides as well. Dustin is working super hard on it and I am totally stoked for it all to be done, and to have a new living room and laundry room (no more washer and drying in a closet thing in the kitchen/dining room, WooHoo.)
Even though we have been working we still find time to relax and hang out with friends. We decided to take a night off and hang out with Kirk and Kassie in Ponca then stop by the lake to see some friends.

Then on Labor Day we took a little shopping trip to Wichita with Justin, Krystle, Kirk, and Kassie.
We had such a blast and spent way to much money, like usual.

Tractor Show 2010

This year the who family got to go to the tractor show. Mom and Dad, Devin and Mindy, and Grandma Beth all had there campers at the fair grounds and partied the weekend away.
One of the highlights of the show was cutting into the massive watermelon that mom and dad brought.
Here is just how big it was....

Once we got it cut (no, we didn't use the chainsaw) I pigged out! (Just kidding, I am not really a watermelon fan. It made for a good photo opp though.)

Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes

Sooo....I got to make cupcakes for my friend Mindy. Her dad just recently left for Colorado and they were having a going away party.
The cupcakes I made were peanut butter flavor with a chocolate butter cream frosting.
They turned out pretty amazing!

This weekend I got to make cupcakes for Mindy's (my soon-to-be new sister in law) niece!

She is turning 1, and is the cutest little girl ever.
The inspiration for the cupcakes is that Bryleigh is super girly and loves jewelry, or bling as we call it.
So...she got her own cupcake bling!

Cupcake Extravaganza

So...I was bored and though that I would make, ohh, about 96 mini cupcake for fun.
I did three different flavors:
Chocolate with butter cream
Chocolate mocha cheesecake
Chocolate cinnamon cheesecake

But like I said I made 96 of them...

Not only do they look good, they taste good also!!

Kassie and I made some margarita cupcakes one day and they turned out freakin' fantastic!!!!
